I used to be a creative and adventurous child who wanted to travel the world, help people and save the planet while doing so, which is the reason why I got involved in some charity works and soon after I made my own non-profitable group the Cents To Care Ph which helping people in distress areas and do some charitable works in different schools and rural places; somewhere along the way I forgot about that and ended up working as a Marketing Manager to support my advocacy and soon landed into the position of Sales Director in a Big Company which made me Travel for Living and forgot my very Dream to Travel to meet the essence of Life.
While I may have hated it at the time, I’m glad for those years of office life and staying out of the country most of the time as it made me realize that life is too short to just think about taking a pay check on my bank account every end of the month. When I looked at High Rank People in the Company I realized that I didn’t want to be like them in the next 10 years’ time. Anybody that knows me personally will have at least once made fun of me and tagging as working machine not human , that until then I only used to get and picked every pieces of my dreams I was missing, for places I had never seen or experiences I had yet to live. I would be sat in the office thinking about all the amazing things I could be doing on the other side of the world if I will not make any moves to turn the table
Until one day it hit me so hard! Thinking about the money I have but the emptiness inside made me feel absurd!Made up my mind and let go to the flows and embraced this saying “Wanderers are the poorest rich” really resonated with me. The idea that I was missing out on life by being stuck in the office became too much, so I quit and started travelling.I started to do backpacking and do my first travel after so many years through public transport with bus and jeepneys. I only got self-consume drinking water, can goods, noodles,breads and some essentials with me, ATM, cash and online map.There’s this feeling of excitement and fears at the same time but at the end I just said to myself its is Now or Never
Since then I enjoyed my life and dedicated in travelling to different places.
